Watching "Two & a Half Men" is a ritual in this house! We loved the show. Mostly all the ones with Charlie Sheen, but we still watch with Aston. Really hate to see the show end.

I'm sort of torn on this. I loved it when Charlie Sheen was on it. Although I like Ashton Kutcher it never really was as funny. Charlie Sheen was being paid an awful lot every week to do what came naturally to him. No wonder he went a little nuts. It sure made for great comedic timing though. The rest of the cast will truly be missed. What chemistry!

It made sense to get rid of Charlie. He was billed as a womanizer but in the last seasons that he was on the show he looked like sh**

Originally the plot line was plausible. Divorced dad & son mooching off successful uncle.

The shows writers seem to think that they can just interchange the characters and it doesnt work like that. Replacing Charlie with Walden or Jake with Jenny. Principle characters need to remain all on board for it too work. This was the big problem with Til Death.

I think it would have been better if they did a Darren Stevens.

I stopped watching right after the first two new episodes with kutcher. Sorry show was over when sheen wasn't in it.

Alan should have been replaced, not Charlie. It's been hard to watch the new version because WAY TO MUCH ALAN!!! Ruined the show.

  • Garry Dicosmo - 10 years ago

Ashton Kutcher is awful! That show could have gone on with just Alan, Rose, The mother, Berta , Alan's ex and the doctor and few other bit characters.

  • ruby - 10 years ago

ashton is just a character not an actor, why do people keep hiring him they may not want to admit it(Lorre) did a very bad thing replacing Sheen

  • don - 10 years ago

Fantastic casting, other than Ashton. He was painful to watch.

  • Rhonda Shannon - 10 years ago

    Only if Charlie were back

  • cheryl Ahuja - 10 years ago

Bring Charlie back and I will watch again, Ashton kitchen was lousy in the roll

  • sideshowdrummer - 10 years ago

Time to go .when sheen left it was over.

  • Vickie - 10 years ago

I like Charlie and Allan, but I will miss Bertta, I voted to keep it because of her and Allan. I watch the reruns every night. Ashton just couldn't measure up to Charlie.

  • Frank Catroneo - 10 years ago

The show with Charlie was a classic. Alan is great too. The new show never had it. I still love the old reruns........I want Charlie back.

  • Ken Byrd - 10 years ago

Everything that I wanted to has been said in the previous comments! I'd just be piling on. I might miss Berta tho. But no spin-offs, please!

The show was on its way out either way. The half of two-and-a-half was all but gone, and his public comments assured he wasn't going to play a significant role in future episodes. And while Charlie made the show, it was already past its prime when he was pushed out.

im so happy its ending, as soon as charlie harper died, so did the show what a digrace

  • Lenny - 10 years ago

I stopped watching after Ashton was on a couple of episodes. Charlie's lifestyle seemed to melt into the show

  • Barty - 10 years ago

Thank the lord. Kutcher ruined this show.

  • catherine baker - 10 years ago

Never watched show after charlie left. Ashton is far from a comic. Not a good actor. All movies he's done sucked at box office.

  • MJ - 10 years ago

Charlie was the show. Ashton is lucky anyone wants him in a show. Kutcher cannot act at all. Wait til the baby comes and you start paying child support. Charlie Sheen rules!

  • Steve Anderso - 10 years ago

I'm still completely mysified as to why the character played by Amber Tamblyn was added. An overweight lesbian bed bunny certainly added little to the show.

  • Candy - 10 years ago

Only saw the first episode with Ashton and that was it, never again. No one can replace Charlie Sheen.

The real answer to the poll question is that it's not going anywhere -- it will be on TNT for years. Two observations on "Jeff Harper."

    1. I love the current iteration. After a transition, the producers accepted that the premise was stupid and let the audience in on the joke. Since there are no new viewers of this ancient show, this worked -- at least for me. It's a kind of leeringly naked celebration of big-bucks TV commerce, and I love it for its relative candor is doing that. Like the characters, the producers may be sleazes, but they're our sleazes.

    2. Is "jeff harper" your real name or a mashup of Jeff Strongman and Alan Harper? Funny coincidence if it's one, and a good, clever bit if it's the other.

Thanks be to gawd. That show died when Charlie was 'pushed ' off that train platform
in Paris. Ashton Kutcher is the world's WORST actor and was an insane choice to
replace Charlie. Jon Cryer carried that show since day one and he and Charlie
were the perfect Odd Couple. I watched the 'new' Men only a couple of times.
It was so pathetic it made me sad. I haven't watched it since. Good riddance
to Ashton Kutcher. He was perfectly cast as an idiot on That 70's show cuz
he truly is an idiot. A rich idiot, but an idiot nonetheless.

  • Fred Voltaggio - 10 years ago

Well the show's ending is no surprise at all, matter of fact it lasted to long. Ashton could never in a lifetime replace Sheen! I watched 1 episode with Ashton and it was curtains for me. Never was the same after that, I am quite sure that the producers knew this but they risked it anyway. Charlie might be a nut case but he played the role to a T.......

  • Julie Robinson - 10 years ago

If they kept Charlies "daughter" or whatever on there regularly it would be a good show (she acts just like him), but when I do catch an episode here and there she's very rarely on there.

  • Jeff Harper - 10 years ago

Two and a half men was my favorite show with Charlie Sheen. I couldn’t even watch it after Ashton Kutcher replaced him. His performance was pathetic and didn’t even make sense. How can anyone believe that a successful IT entrepreneur can be so stupid?

I feel sorry for Jon Cryer, an accomplished comic actor in his own right. But even he and the other likable characters could not carry the show, with that dead weight Kutcher.

Still watching the old reruns with Charlie and can laugh out loud even though I have seen the same episodes many times!

  • Barbara hodges - 10 years ago

The show hasn't been the same since sheen left

  • Terri Jones - 10 years ago

Finally! It has been just sad to watch it go downhill. It should have ended when Charlie left the show. Ashton's character was a watered down substitute for Charlie's character. And he just acted stupid- not funny at all. The great supporting actors carried the show. Good luck to all of them!!!
