There will be a new 911 system across the province by December, but at a cost to phone users. Thoughts?

It's reasonable, particularly since consumers across Canada (including many here) already pay it

I'm opposed to user-pay; government tax dollars should be used for this public necessity

I'm concerned about that this monthly fee will gradually creep well beyond $1 per month

Fine; now let's fix the 'red alert' problems when ambulances are not even available to be called
