At the college level, whose job is it to meet or exceed a studen'ts digital expectations?

The digital generation may not need the supports that those that are not digital natives need. There needs to be a balance, at least for the time being, of faculty and students working toward the goal of digital literacy. Eventually, everyone will be digital natives and this question may become irrelevant. But for now, if the ultimate goal of any instruction is to see students become successful, then we need a "give it all to help them succeed" approach.

    I choose C. Just kidding!
You get right to the point here: students and educators need to develop their technical proficiency in order to enhance the educational environment. But it is not one person's job alone. I chose "Other" because I believe the right answer is "All of the Above".
Students are of course in charge of their own digital destiny. But they will need guidance along the way. Educators must facilitate this learning through the gift of resources and time. And above all, institutions must be forward thinking and encourage, not just allow or tolerate, the technology enhancements and progress that enlivens and enriches education today.
