I had a drunk driver coming at me in my lane around midnight on one of the frontage roads off I-405 near exit 9. I turned around to find him stuck on the railroad tracks, he had mistaken for a side road. This was around midnight. I called 911 and all they kept asking me was "What city are you in? Renton? Bellevue? Newcastle?" I said I had no idea, and read off the street sign the intersection we were at. He finally got his car unstuck and drove down one of the dead end lanes, and after a half hour still there were no police. He managed to get away. I couldn't block or stop him because I wasn't in a car, but on my bicycle commuting home from my swing-shift job.
