Jay Ryan is brilliant!!! He can play a beast, a doctor, an assassin, and an astonishing romantic all effortlessly, I adore this young actor! No one else out there compares to him. I hope Mr. Ryan continues to choose his roles carefully and that we remain blessed to view and enjoy this amazing talent for years to come. And by the way, if you were a True Beastie, you would NOT have forgotten one morsel of the story line no matter how long the hiatus. True Beasties tape and watch these episodes over and over again!

The reason he started that fight was to get hurt bad enough to be brought to the hospital so he 'd have a better chance to escape. He didn't want Catherine to turn herself in as a witness to the crime . By escaping she wouldn't be throwing away her life. He is always thinking about what is best for Catherine. Therefore allowing us to enjoy the beautiful Shower dance scene.
