Ben Whishaw would be perfect. Plus he's an amazing actor and had the geek look as Q in Skyfall. Very versatile actor.

My first thought when I heard there would be a movie about Edward Snowden was that Ben Affleck would absolutely nail the part. His face is near enough, his voice is quiet and magnetic, and Snowden looks older than he is while Affleck could be anywhere from 30 to 45. But most of all, Ben has the acting chops to pull it off in spades. None of the younger actors mentioned has the maturity to bring up the shades of feeling while maintaining such poise, and the older actors are just that ... too old and well known as shallower characters. Ben strikes me as an actor with depths that even he hasn't thought of yet, and unlike the others, he has the ability to disappear into a role. I hope he will be given an opportunity to do this movie.

None of the above should play him. Ed Norton is too old. I think he should be played by Ryan Eggold. Take a look at him with glasses as he played Tom keen on the Blacklist. He looks just like him and he has that soft spoken way about him.

Ed Norton should definitely play the role. He and Edward Snowden even have physical similarities.
