What would you do about panhandling in Grand Rapids?
At least ban begging from motorists. That is seriously unsafe.
Come up with a registration program and allow people to beg in a designated panhandling zone.
Nothing. Begging is a First Amendment right. If you don't like it, don't give any money.
Adopt all the proposed restrictions. It's neither inviting nor safe for Grand Rapids visitors to get solicited for cash.
Donate to a Real Change Not Spare Change campaign that supports social service agencies.
