After hearing about the movies release I was tempted to reread The Giver. The Giver is a very well written book, and very thrilling. But may I say the movie looks like quite a disappointment. I can not say much for i have not seen the movie itself yet, but the trailer makes me not want to see the movie at all. Most of the trailer was in color, which in the book is in fact correct, but not for most of the beginning. I look forward to seeing the movie, but I do wish the trailer was misleading us all... Some books were simply not made to be shown on the big screen, but only in one's imagination.
