Bobby Van was in wonderful shape but he required four segments to film the dance because it was so strenuous. Hugh did it live in one take with only two very short "resting" segments in the elevator and on the piano bench for over four minutes of continuous hopping (Not to mention the high speed jump rope Rocky portion and trampoline leap to the stage).
