    We might as well create a better environment in construction, or taxi driver. AFAIK no early education about career paths discriminates on gender, no discrimination is made on networking initiatives.
    What is wrong with woman not liking the technology? On the other hand they make a very good work in recruiting.

    In my IT org of over 300, there are only a handful of women in the technical areas like system admins, network shop, backup, and security (like me). Technical areas draw those of a geeky nature and women, with exceptions of course, are generally not. You either gel with IT or you don't. Creating a "women friendly environment" will not change that.

    Women are not in IT Security because they don't want to be. No other reason. "Affimitive Action" is nonsense.
