Ahwatukee Lakes Golf Course was never marketed as a golf course for sale. AFTER Gee Land Speculators gained Pulte's interest in the Lakes golf course as a home building site in 2009, Gee Speculators purchased THREE more golf courses in the same area. Foothills GC, Duke and Club West. Could Pulte's development interest be more than only the Lakes GC? Perhaps a deal with the land speculators for the additional golf courses purchased to be developed as housing in the future?
Environmentally, development at the Lakes site would be a disaster and travesty. Big money $ companies/investors always seem to get their lucrative developments built. Sad days ahead for our already crowded Ahwatukee area and open space lifestyle.
