I'm over 18 and I read YA books because:

I love being reminded of what it was like to be a teenager.

I find the plots and characters more engaging than adult books

I feel like most YA are "easier" to read than adult books.

I read YA because of all the hype.

I'm a sucker for romance and I love all the "feels" in YA books.

I have to for my job (publisher, publicist, agent, book reviewer, etc)
