Eastern Health spent about $35,200 on meals for staff and managers who held working lunches, in a two-month period this winter. Thoughts?
Not impressed! That seems like a very high cost, particularly at an authority that is trying to save money
It's fair, since the authority is basically asking staff often to work through their lunch so that group work can get done
We probably need to remember the context; Eastern Health, after all, is one of our largest employers
Pizza and garlic bread? Don't they have dietitians at these places?
