How can you not have put forward Jackie Evancho's name on your listings?
Nobody can touch her singing this song. You really should review your article. You should be red faced omitting her. A lot of people will just chose from your list. Scrap the poll and start again.
Here is the evidence.......

I agree - Jackie Evancho's rendition at the NFL-game on Thanksgiving Day 2013 was one of the best I've ever heard. She really deserves it to sing in one of the next Super Bowles
Jackie Evancho at the 2013 thanksgiving game without any music sets the bar. Nobody is as good

Wayne Messmer's rendition at the 1991 NHL All Star Game, during the Gulf War, with the entire Chicago Stadium crowd cheering, is still the most electifying ever ! (He also does "O Canada" superbly, as well.)

The singing -- and deafening cheering -- of the Star Spangled Banner at Blackhawks games is a proud tradition which started in 1985 with Messmer, and has continued with his successor Jim Cornelison to this day !
Cornelison also knocked Our Anthem out of the park on the 10th Anniversary of 9-11-01 in a ceremony before the Chicago Bears game which was broadcast live to all the other NFL sites.

Hope you enjoy the links.......as a proud American I wish you all a Happy Independence Day, and Happy Canada Day (July 1) to our good neighbors to the north.

Jackie Evancho's rendition of the National Anthem is the way it should be sung. I have not
heard it sung better.

Young 14-year old music prodigy Jackie Evancho has performed the National Anthem at several MLB, NFL, and NHL venues. None better than her appearance on Thanksgiving Day 2013 at the holiday's featured Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers game. She was spectacular, and deserves to sing it in the Super Bowl in 2015 or 2016.
Linda Ronstadt at 1977 World Series did a straight-up rendition without the vocal gymnastics - as it should be done.
Love Jackie in all she does! Before I knew of her, I enjoyed this rendition at the Dallas Cowboys game a few years ago.

Jackie Evancho on Thanksgiving Day 2013. My wife commented it was the best rendition she had ever heard. And I agree.
