There is a yawning chasm in tourist attractions in Houston. We are not perceived as family-friendly or even remotely entertaining by the Nation, so it seems normal for tourist dollars to go elsewhere and for world class athletes to take their careers and families to other cities.

This is a necessity, since Astroworld closed. It would provide jobs for students as well as entertainment for all the students that live here. Families moved here for the schools, but besides schools and restaurants there is nothing to do, especially for teenagers. We lose all our tourism to San Antonio, Dallas and Galveston. As the most under serviced population in the nation at least when it comes to amusement parks, this would be an invaluable service.
