Between him and Roark, only 2 that can be counted on. Other 3 are iffy. Strasburg definitely is someone who has become unreliable, IMHO.

Fister's record and stats speak for themselves. Roark is good but not there yet. Zimmermann has certainly pitched in tough luck but doesn't deserve ace status. Strasburg and Gonzalez are not having good enough seasons - both show flashes of brilliance but generally struggle to get the job done effectively.

If I'm in game 7 of the World Series and I'm managing the Nationals I am sending out Strasburg every time.

I'd like for it to be Strasburg. He has the stuff but he's too inconsistent and doesn't have some of the intangibles that Fister has. Fister is more poised on the mound (doesn't roll his eyes when fielders make errors, backs up bases when there are base runners), he has the ability to go deeper into games, and has a track record of pitching well in big games.
