Buddy is a true champion that all hawk fans should count themselves lucky to call him theirs if only for a period but Dermott was the whole package. As a Geelong fan I endured too many heartaches at his expense. If I was in the drenches I know he would be the first out and take one for the team. I doubt money would have been a motivation for Derm to leave his mates!
