Why why why who on this earth picked these awful monstrosities for the commonwealth games they are hideous wouldn't even wear them for Halloween omg can't believe it

LOL!! I struggled to choose between the two but Scotland's definitely wins my vote. It is truly hideous. I feel sorry for the poor athletes having to wear those uniforms. I am Scottish and most people here think the uniforms are totally cringe-worthy. There is even a petition on change.org calling for a rethink before it's too late!

They are both pretty horrendous and getting small school children to design our uniform as their school textile project would have probably had a nicer outcome,that being said ,Scotland have out done themselves these games for the UGLIEST uniforms.... they really look like the have gathered donated picnic tablecloths from the all the local families that still had their 60s throws in the closet.
** New designers called for all round I would say.

Well the athletes will have to be Scotland the brave to wear these outfits just as well they are honoured to participate for queen and country which after all what it's all about let's go Scotland.

Don't know much about plaids, but I have a proud Scottish ancestry (Royal Stuarts). Shirts and dress material are definitely naff, but the kilts, sporrans and shawls look fine to me. Not too many countries these days have a sense of national dress.....unless you're up for lederhosen.

Hahahaha OMG what do these Are these uniform committees thinking Australia and now Scotland ... Terrible to have designers producing laughable outfits for our athletes to have to where and then have the world laugh at us both our countries have some of the best designers..... Why not utilise them!!!
