Do you think police and correctional officers should accept free cups of coffee from Cumberland Farms or other establishments?
Yes. I don't see the big deal. Officers protect us every day, often at great cost, and giving a free cup is a nice gesture of gratitude.
No. Officers are paid to be objective and impartial enforcers of the law. Accepting freebies of any kind undermines the public trust.
