Was Nelsan Ellis right to call out the actor for quitting True Blood?

Perhaps I'm naive in this debate, but I think it's unfair to judge the orginal James on True Blood for not continuing on with the role. While I do support rights and tolerance for EVERYONE, I don't look at actors as professionals that have to portray all roles offered. In honesty they don't have to do shit but attempt to be great in the roles they chose. So, he's not comfortable doing sex scenes with a guy. Ok. Perhaps it conflicts with his beliefs, even if his ideology is fucked, as long as he's NOT physically hurting anyone that's his right. It just doesn't seem fair to shame actors into roles. That's his preference as it was Mark Wahlberg's choice to decline they role in Broke Back Mountain because it made him feel "weird". He didn't lose any money, received minimum criticism, and lost no roles. (BUT Walberg does owe me money for Contraband). I'm with Justin on this one and like Violet not going nuclear on Jason & Jessica I did not see that coming. =)

Yeah he was right, it's time people. No more letting bigots get a walk ans allowing them to hide behind cover of "artistic decisions" or whatever old dude tried to pin it own. Tony Dungy, Un-named GM's, Anthony Cumia, and like minded individuals. All of them are getting called on the carpet for this fuck shit because it's 2014 and the time for this behavior has long since passed.
