I would have made light of it, asking jokingly, so as not to make him self conscious or uncomfortable. This way in the future he'd be wanting to come to me for advice instead of hiding anything. I would ask him what he thought of what he saw, and what questions he may have. And explained the different sexualities. I think if he was searching once he had found one site, then it means it may be time to get ready for the curiosities and questions. Much rather my child be informed than mis-informed or misguided.
