Absolutely wash from top down...so dirty, soapy water does not run over clean areas! Like a surgeon scrubs from fingertips down, never to go back up!

Strange - I never thought of washing up,maybe since rinsing my hair can be done while cleaning the rest.

Start at the top and the runoff primes the bottom half. Common sense!

I'm with Patty; start at top and work your way down. It's like washing windows or painting a wall; you always start at the top so you don't have to go back and redo what you've already done.

Really been enjoying your blogs. I bet it feels good to be winding down. You have had a great year filled with all kinds of wonderful places to visit and to see, with many pictures to reminisce of this memorable year. I was at Mount Mitchell back in the 60's. My picture was made by the elevation sign also. Need to find that picture. Happy trails!!
