Why wasnt the bracket set up with NWA and on opposite sides? Want that the obvious final? Nobody that ends up in the title round from the other side will be nearly on the level of whoever gets knocked out was.... it's like when in football the real championship is during the conference championship and the super bowl is ann after thought

Hell Hath No Fury is one of the greatest hip hop records ever. I love the bracket but feel that your seeding didn't give the Clipse their due.

Pusha and Malice give you straight fire and they deserved better.

How many rappers have written anything as ill as "I philosophize about blocks and keys, n***** call me young black Socrates"?

Not all of NWA could rap, which is why I voted for Clipse

Tough draw for Clipse ... should been higher than a 8-seed in my opinion!

I'm not 100% clear on the criteria. We're celebrating hip hop etc... As far as impact on rap and fame its NWA easy but I don't think they can see the Clipse when it comes to beats and bars.

You kids need to understand how ground breaking N.W.A was. There was nothing like it at the time. The clipse were ok but they didn't break any new ground. NWA changed the game and scared the shit out of white America.

Its insane that Clipse are an 8 seed and obviously gonna lose. I will take Hell Hath No Fury and We Got It for Cheap Vol 2 over any NWA album. One of the few groups that can match NWA production wise with Neptunes beats being just as innovative and original and absolute bangers.

Efil4zaggin is probably a better record than Straight Outta Compton front to back (people like to forget how rough the B Side of that LP was compared to the stellar A Side). And those are the only two NWA records. If we could include solo albums, Ice's career would probably push them over, but MAN. Lord Willin, Hell Hath No Fury, Til the Casket Drops, the We Got It for Cheap series, Road to Til the Casket Drops, Pusha's solo, all those Neptunes beats...

I'll say it. Clipse are far and away a better group than N.W.A. were, right down to the brotherly love and lack of in fighting.

Say what you want but I voted for The Clipse! Def respect what NWA has done for rap music but my votes are on personal faves and that God Willin is an all-timer

NWA is of course going to win but i love Clipse. "I'm a legend in 2 games like i'm Pee Wee Kirkland!" Pusha is nasty!

    NWA has the Duke bracket.

Gang Starr is a better GROUP than anyone in this bracket. How did they not make it?

Couple other matchups notes (come on Joe & Carlos!)...
The Roots vs Tribe in round 2??? The LEGENDARY ROOTS CREW or A Tribe Called Quest out in the 2nd round? Wow. Plus they have the same fan bases - fan bases that like good shit. Heady Hip Hop with a tight beat & nice flow.
The Fugees vs De La Soul in the first round? How is De La gonna be matched up against someone that could defeat them in round 1? Shake my head. De La Soul is a true group & they have the freshest sound. If they were the 2 seed in the NWA bracket, they'd make the elite 8. You're better than that Carlos.

I wanted to vote for The Clipse so bad, but I just can't go against the originators of Gangsta Rap.......Pusha T is one of the best rappers RIGHT NOW though......
