Last weekend NSW Labor voted to support same-sex marriage, but rejected calling on federal MPs to a binding vote in favour of it. Thoughts?
It doesn't mean anything. Marriage is a federal issue, not state
It would've only made a difference if that binding vote was passed
It won't make any difference until Liberals are given a conscience vote
There are more important issues to worry about than marriage equality
This is a great step forward from Australia's most populous state!
