I did not see any reason to change the names of anything just because someone thinks it is derogatory or racist.
The word halfbreed means many different things. It was even a political party at one time! Halfbreed is even used in the Harry Potter movies!
Why not change the name of the Grand Tetons. That literally translates to Big Breasts. Demeaning and derogatory to all small breasted women!
If it has been know by that name for over 100 years - leave the name alone!

Most of these land marks were named by the pioneers. Its part of Montana history. Leave them be.
