I just checked out thelotfilm.com and the true story this film is based on is pretty amazing. Even more amazing is the filmmakers plan to finish the park this guy started…wow. More projects should involve the community on this scale. I just voted THE LOT and will be sharing this with my co-workers.
Looks like it will be packed with suspense and action. I think this film will have those who watch it remember what it is like to be from the "outside." Kudos to the crew!

I really like the idea of tying the film-The Lot- together with a project to create positive social change in the community where the movie was made. Bravo the these wonderful filmmakers!

A man tries to turn an empty lot into a park for kids… and fails. THE LOT is based on a amazing true story from seven years ago in New Orleans. I love the filmmakers passion about using the film to complete the story and build the park. Keep doing good work guys, we need more filmmakers with that type of drive and passion. Other projects look good too, but my vote goes to THE LOT!
