How is Cast not a #1 seed?
@Justin. Terrible argument. Huge arena concerts are an impersonal sham--might as well just watch it on TV. The fact that Bone Thugs are playing smaller indie clubs these days is AMAZING. Such a good time. By far the worst part of being a fan of a musician is if they reach a point when that are so huge that they only play gigantic venues (at which point I will never go see them...because why pay more for a lesser experience?). You want the live experience in the "up-and-coming" era and in the "post-superstar" era, when you can have an intimate experience and relate to them as people. Also, the fact that a group is currently selling out big venues says nothing about the overall worth of its best work. You know who sells out huge venues all the time? Nickleback.
Let's see, Outkast is playing sellout shows all over the country while I think Bone Thugs just played at the First Baptist down the street from me last week.
The easy favorite. Outcast should of been a 1 seed over Run Dmc.
This thing is probably going to come down to the Wu and Outkast in the finals. I really hope outkast wins, but the wu is to hip hop what the '92 dream team is to basketball and everyone seems to count all the individual albums of the collective in their vote. I also wish the beastie boys could win but judging by the comments I think I'm the only person that actually likes them lmao
I can't believe this vote is so lopsided. I admire the originality of Outkast , even though I generally don't like southern rap as much (with the exception of Goodie Mob). But if originality is what you are after, it doesn't get any more original than Bone Thugs! Bone Thugs are the sole group on my Mount Rushmore of rap artists (joining Biggie, 2Pac and Dre). In the last round, I read posts where people complained about them rapping to a melody. That is absurd! How can you slight them for adding more actual musicianship to their sound? Can anyone logically explain to me why they are not getting more love in this competition?
If OutKast isn't the last group standing, I'd be shocked.......without a doubt GREATEST GROUP OF ALL TIME!!!!.......I love some of the older BTNH catalog, and I appreciate the Wu, but OutKast is who im riding with till the end!!!!!
I LOVE BTNH and voted for them in the last round...but I can't do it against Outkast. I'd put them over some of the other groups left, but against Outkast? Not gonna be able to do it! No shame in losing to first ballot hall of famers like Andre and Sir Lucious Left Foot.

I've said it before and I will say it again.... Outkast should have been the #1 overall seed. They are going to win the whole bracket. I'm 34 and from jersey, but Outkast is the greatest group of all-time.
I agree with redant22000. I would've liked Bone way better if they were just a duo (Bizzy & Krayzie). I'm still voting for Bone though

It deeply saddens me how one sided this one is.
I like Outkast but Bone is way better imo. Outkast is more loved by the mainstream so of course they will win. Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Bone should have been a 2 man group like Outkast, that would have been an unstoppable duo!
Remember when Bone performed on the Mtv video awards and did the song "Crossroads" in all white suites and then the white horse with the big carriage rolled out with a bunch of grim reapers? Sure you do. A lot of hip-hop points were lost that day for ol' BTH. Outkast is the clear winner here. Body of work, longevity of career and maintaining relevance. In fact, they are deserving of being the winner of this deal.
When bone came out I was there biggest fan for there first two major albums not including the one before eazy came into the picture ( faces of death I believe) I thought it was illest shit I ever heard....... then everything after that was absolute garbage I don't think any group has ever let me down like they did I think they had the potential to be one of the best but outkast is one of the best andre 3000 is in my top 1% of emcees I think theybeat bone easy but I can't put them over run dmc pe or wu as much as I want to cause I'm from atl but those three groups in my opinion are untouchable....wu tang forever!!!!
