My babysitting wages actually went from one extreme to the other depending who I was sitting for. A family of 6 girls= $.50/hr and a family with 2 girls = $5.00/hr or ten if I had the two girls and their cousin. Five dollars an hour was pretty much unheard of in the 70's, so I felt very rich after babysitting for the Pappa's. :)
