The poll leaves out the owners (Liberty Media) and the hitting coaches. The team needs to be revamped entirely. Just because of the planned move to oobb, doesn't mean anything unless the team improves. Empty seats in Cobb co. too. Fredi is a horrible mgr. There seems to be no team leaders. They play as if expecting to lose every game. Fredi does not make me feel inspired. Wren has slowly ruined the team, Uggla is gone next should be BJ, Fredi and Frank Wrenn. The Braves are the most insipid ballclub in baseball now. I've even stopped watching except to get the score. They are boooooooorrrrrrring

This is the big leagues where proven hitters, pitchers and coaches ply their trade. Everyone in the majors has the exact same opportunity to excel or not. The mix is the hardest thing to bring to the top. I expect the manager and coaches to do that job. If you ain't got that way about you then the team will (or may) be doing
just what our team is doing. If suddenly start winning. starting this series it will be like they have all drunk the magic elixir and it could happen. Yes we have some good players and a few top notch players as well and guy's NOW IS THE TIME to do your best! Selah

I've supported Frank Wren theough the years, particularly his rebuilding of the pitching staff early on, but i'd have to lay the blame on him because our farm system looks so week right now. We continue to draft pitchers but even those pitchers don't look so promising. Why can't the Braves ever draft a legitimate .300 hitter with .500 slugging? More: I have never seen a team lack the fundamentals of situational hitting. The Padres put the ball in play better than our free swinging, HR eager team that can't hit HR's. Every guy on our team swings out of his shoes, swings for the fences. That's an organizational problem from the GM, to the scouts, to the minor leagues, the manager, and the hitting coach who surprisingly wasn't named in this article. If the players need a wake up call Walker needs to go followed by others. Guys need to learn to hit a sac fly. It's astonishing that a MLB ballplayer cannot do that, let alone a whole team of them. I just think that's a strategy thing and you have to point your finger at the manager and Walker. let's face it, 18 runs in 8 games is a hitting issue particularly when the pitching has been pretty decent and the hitting has sucked for years. Lastly, I still can't believe we traded for a 2nd baseman when we already had an All-Star and fan favorite in Martin Prado, then went on to sign Uggla or that contract. It's moves like this an BJ Upton that leave you wishing for L's until somebody wakes up.

It's actually the "Terminus Curse"...after Sherman burned Terminus to the ground...the citizens renamed it Atlanta after the reconstruction. There was a traveling a Salesman who had a number of calling Cards printed up with Terminus as his home town. He burned them just off Peachtree Street and put a curse on the New Town and it's name... In 1995 the curse left town to avoid the Olympics fearing that if Mohamed Ali were to light the Olympic Torch it might resemble what happened back in 1864...
