Tatiana Maslany!!! Who else plays all 5 main roles in a show perfectly?
Much like the Emmy's and whatever industry awards show, this as well is a popularity contest at the end of the day. Everyone here of course watches The Walking Dead and thus rave about Melissa McBride even though Maggie Siff is better but that show doesn't have as many viewers. Sad, really...
All these actresses are amazing but Melissa McBride hit it out of the park this year!
Melissa McBride without a doubt. She absolutely deserved an Emmy nod...this EWWY is so deserved. There isn't an actress out there who had such a brutal story line and performed in such a way that the viewer's heart broke in spite of what she had to do. I swear when she walked out of The Grove after shooting L, the look on her face,etc....she wasn't acting...she became Carol. It was so tragically beautiful. Anyone who says because she's on TWD she doesn't deserve this, probably has never watched the show. Get past the ZA element and see it for the human aspect of the show. Melissa McBride all the way!!

Sandra Oh is absolutely old news, she's been there and done that, providing nothing new.
The Walking Dead lady is on Walking Dead people. There is a reason why no one from Walking Dead was nominated: it's not a high quality show! She's a "complicated" character that hardcore fans of the show like, but everyone else who knows quality knows she should've been offed years ago. She's bleh at best.
Maggie Siff gets the same reaction as the Walking Dead lady. There's a reason why Sons of Anarchy does not get high quality nominations, because it is not a high quality show. It aims for a medium, average sort of quality with which there is a large crowd of people who like to watch. That being said, she doesn't do a good job on any of the seasons she's in.

Had to go with Melissa McBride. Her performance this year was Emmy worthy in every sense of the phrase. Just a wonderful job - "The Grove" was breathtaking!
This was a tough one. I'm not sure how I'll watch Grey's without Sandra, and Bellamy is the ONLY person I still like on Scandal. But in the end, I had to vote for Melissa McBride. She was amazing last season.
Had to go for Melissa McBride, the woman is a powerhouse and her performance this season was by far the best thing about it. It was amazing, and heartbreaking and she was definitely snubbed by the emmy's this year.

Melissa McBride!! I absolutely loved her and Sandra Oh throughout their times on their shows. Extremely hard decision but I had to cast my vote for my one and only home girl, Melissa McBride.
Again, thanks for the excellent noms, and screw you for the hard-as-hell decision, EW.... Maggie Siff, Melissa McBride, and Sandra Oh were ALL in rare and beautiful form this year. It was hard to choose between them, they all had brilliantly written storylines, and they all portrayed them with power and grace... but in the end? Maisie Williams. I am sorry, but that girl's talent belies her age. She went above and beyond this season, and knowing what is ahead for Arya next year? I can't wait to see where Maisie is willing to take her on-screen. She is young, fearless, and brilliant. Give the girl a statue already!

Loved Sandra Oh, but I had to go for Melissa McBride. She was only in a few episodes this past season but she blew me away every time she was on screen. Hope they use her more this upcoming season.

Bells bc Scandal is just so amazing and Mellie is just so necessary for the show. Bellamy is such an incredible actress/human and deserves credit for what she does.
Both Melissa & Maggie gave amazing performances last season. I had to vote for Maggie Siff though, ya know, since her character is now dead. Melissa will get another chance next year. ;)

Melissa McBride really deserves to win this! Her talent is just incredible and I can't believe she gave up acting for all those years.....if there is any justice in this world then Hollywood should be begging her to star in stuff because she's just too great a talent to waste! :)
