Why a pipe line? We have a glut of crude and 4 dollar diesel. Build a refinery right here ship the gas and diesel were needed or at least add to the refineries that are already operating.

The pollution is going to be here with or without the pipeline. This pipeline oil or expensive overseas oil, its still going to be used. Everyone is trying to shut down coal burning also. Without a viable alternative to coal and oil, there will be an economic disaster. One thing at a time people...

I still find it hard to believe that there are still some that think this pipeline is worth the cost of the pollution. Maybe when they are laying on a hospital bed tied to various machines that do everything for them, they will wish they thought more for the planet instead of their pockets!
