I hope you guys all realize that if target canada closes down then there goes thousands and thousands of jobs. I don't know why everyone chooses to bash on target just because it's the mainstream thing to do. People are afraid to stand up for target because they would get looked down at for being a black sheep. Their is absolutely no reason why people are hating on target. I personally work for target and it is the best job I have ever had. They give me meals, they do SO many volunteering jobs to help out the less fortunate, they always have games going on in the break room. I've worked at so many jobs but this one I will always appreciate. I've been working their since they first opened, I have built the store, put up the shelves, and put stock on the shelves. No one sees the big picture. I don't haven any other job lined up but now, because so many people are but hurt over nothing I need to find a new one. Have you guys ever been to walmart? 100% of their staff won't even see that you exist. All they care about is "2 more hours until I'm off". Have you guys ever seen a walmart? It doesn't look very welcoming. Yes, I do shop at walmart but I defiantly don't get the feeling or help that I would expect in a store. Target hires some truly amazing staff. They don't care if you have a mental condition, your race, if your hair is bright blue, if you have 1,000 tattoos and piercings, even if you are in a wheelchair. I actually personally work for someone of which is in a wheelchair and she an awesome person. Have you ever seen that at any other store? People should just give target another chance. For all the people who are physically unable to get a job, and for those that live pay check to pay check for this job. Its a retail job that gives you health benefits for god sake. It is such an uplifting feeling walking into any target store, getting greeted more that you would expect, getting to know people, making friends, making memories. Please don't take that away. So what if we have another discount store? How would that hurt you? How come standing up for something that's right should make you feel like the odd one out? We live In a world of "monkey see, monkey do" and this situation can prove it. Please rethink why you ACTUALLY dislike target.

I was very disappointed in target.I go to states to shop at target.IN Canada its to expensive.U can't yet the yoplair light yogurt,no cherry coke. THe baby clothes in states are adorable.I was so excited it was coming .I waited in line opening day.I would give it another chance if it was cheaper.Why don't u ask Canadian s what we want it would save a trip across the border.Plus what about you'd slushis and hot stand in store. It keeps kids quiet so u can shop.

I see no future for this company in Canada. They are doing so bad that they cut their employees ours to the point where sometimes you don't find them in the store. Some of these employees are working only 4 or 8 hours a week and making $10.00/hour. Isn't that funny?
Another thing they say is that target is in the position it is because of the competition, I mean, if you are not ready to compete against other busineses , how normal is to open more stores?
Myself, my family and some of our decent friends are going some other places and we are leaving our money there when we buy what we need/want. We don't waste our time with target.

Why aren't the prices compatible with the States Target. Is the product in the store Canadian or American?
The one time I went across the border to Target, I was happy with my purchases.

I was just there today and bought two pairs of super cute flats for under 35.00$ now where else would I do that?! No where. Every time I go to Walmart they have empty shelves. I love target and I think it beats out Walmart every day! Also school supplies is a lot cheaper at target than Walmart! I'd be disappointed if target was closed in Canada!

When it was announced that TARGET was coming to Canada, my first thought was: they won't make it. I dont like Target in in the US so why would I like it in Canada. They can't compete with Wal-Mart. Sorry guys....
