N.W.A.....amazed that they are losing. I was never a fan of the Wu but give them respect but cmon fellas NWA were GAME CHANGERS!! DMC,NWA,Whodini,Grandmaster Flash and the furious five,PE...all have been badly disrespected. Sadly,much too many under 35 are voting and have no clue what real hip-hop is about or who paved the way. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and I'm cool with that but NWA is the group that changed hip-hop the way Nirvana changed rock. Cmon fellas.
Beastie boys went deep, however WT will prevail, it's really a race for second place.

THIS IS SOooo TOUGH. If it was a solo MC tournament I'd probably take Ghostface (yes, over f'n 2pac/Biggie) to the end. The Wu broke barriers in 93' just as much as the Beasties did in 89', but I have to fall back solely on body of work as a hip hop group. The Beastie Boys banged out four hip hop classics versus Wu's two (three if you want to count Iron Flag). As a group, Wu's live show was a complete trainwreck (saw them live twice with great anticipation) where the Beasties delivered some of the hypest live hip hop shows to date, consistently. It will be bitter sweet if Wu wins the whole thing over Outkast but based on what this tournament is all about Beasties or Outkast should be crowned champion.

I agree with amrit it will be wu and outkast final round with outkast taking it all. Outkast is the juggernaut/lowkey dark horse.
here is the thing-Beastie Boys were a better group and had a longer and better run as a group. But the solo success and talent of Wu is going to win. But if you ignore the solo stuff and put group albums against each other and add how the beasties changed the culture, its really a clear win. And I love Wu
@L.A. Life: Right on. NWA and Tribe are definitely the best left. I love Wu Tang, but they don't have any tracks that come close to NWA's 4 or 5 best. Ideally, Bone should have made the finals in the other bracket, but Tribe was the next best on that side.

WU is a great crew...but dang how many people do they need for a group. I think that should be noted. Imagine NWA with snoop, nate dog, 2 pac, dog pound, ice t, spice 1, dj quick, too short. You get the idea, when red man and method man teamed up it was a group. A lot of people are saying WU or TRIBE will win but I think it should be NWA. THE WORLD'S MOST DANGEROUS CREW.

I don't know if any white people that bump the Wu. I'm still a little salty that we couldn't have Wu go against the Mobb. But either way Wu goes on. Only group that's touching the Clan is Tribe
