I refinanced my house because Navy Federal Credit Union posted no guns signs, Staying out of anti-gun places is not hard fr the most part, but not enough gun owners do it to make the places take notice for the most part.

I work at Meijer, so I don't shop at Kroger anyway. But at meijer we don't have a policy on customers carrying.

    Love the numbers!

I would still carry conceled! MDA will not trump my rights to carry! And yes where every other place that MDA has "supposedly won" I carry all the time!

There is a real problem with a minority of Americans that have a lot of money. They feel their fears of inanimate objects trump our rights. The fact that they have gone this far based off of funding from billionaires with God complexes is ridiculous and absurd. I vote with my dollars too. Although I live in Maryland where my rights are already stripped from me, I and many others, refuse to spend in the chains that let a billionaire-funded puppet pressure them into denying Americans the basic right to provide self protection if they so choose. If they were really so concerned with the safety of children, they should invest those gun sense paychecks into firearms safety programs to teach safe and responsible handling. Or even better, how about Bloomberg, Buffet and Gates coughing up that money for St. Jude's? Every dollar they spend attacking the rights of Americans is a conscious decision to put it there and not towards something that will really help children. It's depressing to know that in a country where wealth lies within a certain percentage of individuals, those individuals seem to be the ones with the most worthless agendas to waste that wealth on.

Who cares? I'll still just conceal carry.

No point in crying about it.

If they don't like my right of self protection, they must not like my money either. NO GUN, NO MONEY. I will not shop anywhere that has a no gun policy. Note that nearly all mass shootings have occured in gun free zones. Why does MDA have to bus in paid protesters to get their small turnouts? NRA convention, 72000+ gun owners downtown with NO problems. I worked the convention and carried as I have for past 7 years.

It is so much safer when law abiding people carry guns. They know how to use them to protect their fellowman and that is a #1 priority. It is unbelievable that people are opposed to citizens carrying guns, but they have to know that the law is not handling those criminals who always have and use guns. God bless our citizens who do carry their gun. It keeps us all safer!!!

Moms Demand is living proof that ignorance is bliss. I rarely go to Kroger, but when I do, I'm armed. i'm not paranoid, I'm prepared. Something Moms will never understand.

  • Debbie Lowe - 10 years ago

The gangstas will have guns shoved down their pants. What are you going to do, wand every one? Who will disarm the ones with guns? It is my right to carry a gun and it is my right to never step foot into Kroger.

Places that completely ban guns are the places where crime is most likely going to occur because criminals know that the law abiding citizens wouldn't be able to protect themselves. How many stories do we hear where it's titled "store employee saves many lives by shooting back at a shooter"? We hear those all the time. We don't hear "criminal decided not to rob store because they didn't allow guns in." criminals are going to do these acts whether it's against the law or not so why try to take away our right to defend ourselves.

  • J - 10 years ago

Oh yes with no guns allowed in Kroger then it would surely make me want to shop there more, because if they weren't allowed in there then criminals wouldn't be able to rob the place or commit other crimes because they aren't allowed to have their guns in there and all the law abiding people would understand.

Well that would be how I thought if my IQ was about the same as my shoe size at least.

I will never shop at ANY store that does not allow me to carry my legal, permitted weapon. I never go ANYWHERE with out it EVER!!!!!! People may ask "what are you afraid of"? Not a damn thing!

  • jon - 10 years ago

Frankly it doesnt matter to me im going to carry anyways its my born right and a piece of paper dont mean a thing to me the most they could do is ask me to leave I would be more than happy to but if I refused thats when it starts conflict and they can only get me for trespassing

  • Benny Brown sr - 10 years ago

I feel people need to mind there own business if they was worrying about there own back yards they would have less time to stick there nose in where it's not needed pry my cold dead fingers off my legal carried weapon if my weapon is not allowed neither am I

So when a person (more than likely a woman) is mugged (or worse) in the parking lot of a store because she was not allowed to carry her gun into the store...I wonder what would be said then? I for one don't flaunt that I am carrying a weapon, that would be foolish. But "having the right" to carry it should I need to defend myself, should not be taken away.

  • lauren - 10 years ago

Our ancestors?? Then practice what you preach. Our ancestors fought for us to hunt and protect our home. Not to carry at tge local grocery store. Ignorance is bliss, so I hear.

  • Kimberly - 10 years ago

Buffy Hanlon said it all. Don't blame the responsible for the wrong doings of others. Didn't a Kroger employee stop a robbery at one of the Stores not too long ago? If he hadn't acted, who knows how badly it could have gone for customers & other employees. If a criminal (or crazy person) decides to shoot up a Kroger while these so called activists were shopping, I bet they'd be happy to have an armed citizen to help protect them. Maybe not? Maybe they'd want to wait for the police to get there? I have nothing but love for the police, and I know that 'they will always get out of their car'. But it takes time to respond to calls. I'd like to keep the option to protect myself. Oh yeah, That's the Law.

I would not shop at any place that banned legal citizens to carry their firearms!

  • Jeff - 10 years ago

Why hasn't somebody went after the use of "MDA" they are using it asking for donating. Its no coincidence that MDA = Muscular Dystrophy Association.

How many people have donated thinking is was the real MDA! Not the right stealing pigs! This is fraud.

  • jereme fox - 10 years ago

MAD is a cancer pure and simple. If ignorance is bliss they sure are blissful!!

  • Ann petty - 10 years ago

Pretty sure that the shooting took place In the parking lot! So are we going to say just don't have them and take away rights our ancestors put in place for us? Sad sad day guns don't kill people! People kill people !

  • Kurtis - 10 years ago

Mda group is a cancer that needs a cure. That cure would be learning history as to why our country fought for its independence, why the world came together to defeat the nazis. Learning facts that they refuse to acknowledge would also help with that cure.

  • ann - 10 years ago

If they ban them. I will not shop there.

  • Buffy Hanlon - 10 years ago

I have a license to carry and you wouldn't even know I have it on me. I believe our rights are slowly being taken away. Don't blame the responsible ones for the wrongs of others.

  • Don Juan - 10 years ago

Pretty funny how Kroger wants nothing to do with this.
