I'm disappointed that about 9% of people were not shocked by the family's reaction. It means that some of them went through something like that or that's they would react like that. Those parents should be ashamed. I don't actually know anyone gay personally but if I did, I would damn well treat them like any other person and I would respect them. I'm actually atheist so I don't agree with what any of what the mother was saying. I do respect the people who have faith for any kind of religion and not to be disrespectful to anyone. But if that's what they say in church that "gay is bad, straight is good" they are not rightful minded. I AM NOT GAY AND I AM NOT CHRISTIAN BUT I AM STILL ON HIS SIDE. WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT ME? OR BETTER YET, THOSE PARENTS?
On another topic, in some states gay marriage is still 'illegal'. People whom are gay SHOULD be accepted by now.

Sod him, gay is wrong n kids need telling when they're are wrong simple as, his family bought him up better than tht, they bought him up properly n he let them down, i dnt see what they have done is wrong, he will burn in hell for his sins unless he repents, obviously his family is christian so whatz the problem with his family, its only right, why has the world gone soft with all this queer lovin bisiness???

I'm horrified by thus video that lad needs support and acceptance from his family they should be ashamed of themselves.my brother is gay an we take him for what he is as do my parents .I hope he is happy now whatever his deluded family think. x

This kid has alot of courage and did wonderfully standing up for himself.... They should be ashamed.
I think anyone who can and wants to should donate to a fund to help him out.
