All these episode has a lot of coolness to them. But all's I'm saying is "When some pony tries to block, show them that YOU ROCK!" Hey, sometimes you just gotta end up "Putting Your Hoof Down"
don - 10 years ago
Spikeys Quest being confidential they put their hooves down during a weding that lasted till hearts & hooves day as a rerun of I love Lucy played out with socker moms bitching about a derp ,Some friends indeed!
"My Spikey wikey has such chubby wubby cheeks!" or "I didn't learn a thing! I was right all along!"
It's all good! (Having Big Mac saying more than "Eeyup" has got to be a good thing!)

@SazerLite
Finally a mature response.
SazerLite - 10 years ago
If you guys wanna call the episode The Last Rounderp, fine.
But don't dub it that in an official poll! It just further shows how much you didn't care for the story (which was a great story, mind you).
thatisall - 10 years ago
Are people really butthurt about the spelling of Rounderp? You people need to get a life...
Ah, Danielle, I was stating my opinion. Fortunately, your take on "Derpy" is a minority view. ^_^ Time and again the poll results demonstrate that people railing in the comments do not represent a majority view. In fact, the majority view of the tens of thousands in the MLP:FIM fandom turns out to be much more caring and open than few dozens commenting. Why is that?
anon - 10 years ago
Anyone who was actually bothered by the spelling of The Last Roundup is a fucking pussy.
jones - 10 years ago
Apple who? Was she that background pony from that Derpy episode? (Not making a joke. I genuinely despise Applejack).
anon - 10 years ago
Lol at all this Applejack fan butthurt! Fuck Crapplejack. Boring inbred hick, just like her fans.
Danielle - 10 years ago
@Frith: Don't speak for the whole fandom when that's only a part of it, you're not all the people of the world. And no, it's an offensive pun too.
"The Last Rounderp" is a good pun. ^_^ Derpy speaks in it, steals the show in the hearts of the fandom, the VA mistook Derpy's gender (and it _still_ worked!), and Hasbro derped big time in editing it after the first broadcast. But I still did not vote for it -- Applejack's friends were not kind to her in this episode. In that respect, Hurricane Fluttershy is the superior episode.
D00mGUY - 10 years ago
Of course ACW pt.2 is winning the fandom loved seeing Celestia get beaten thats the only reason why...
David - 10 years ago
The Last Rounderp? That's offensive you a-hole, change it to the correct title and THEN I'll vote it.
SazerLite - 10 years ago
@Badly Drawn Turtle
Seth's 'idiocy' is more like his lack of respect for the story itself.
Either way, I still wouldn't have voted on it. I really do like the episode, but there are a couple others I enjoyed more in this half-season.
WhyshouldILeaveMyNameAnyway - 10 years ago
I voted for" Read it and Weep it", because it shown a new side to the character of Rainbow Dash, that really needed it.
Badly Drawn Turtle - 10 years ago
Really, people? I get that you don't like how "The Last Roundup" was spelled wrong; it bothers me, too. But changing your vote based on Seth's idiocy? The episode is the same whether it's the proper title or not; so your vote should be the same. All changing your vote does is leave one less vote for an episode that you would have otherwise supported. It won't change Sethisto's behavior, he's too far gone to be affected by that.

Only-I - 10 years ago
If you weren't so offensive messing up The Last Roundup I'd vote for that. Best episode in my opinion, edited or not, it doesn't matter as I don't care about Derpy anyway (only care about the mane six/other important characters). But I'm not voting this time, not when it's not the right title.
Space Tissues - 10 years ago
Can't edit, but I do like A Friend in Deed and Dragon Quest as well, at least enough that they are rewatchable.
Space Tissues - 10 years ago
And now we get to a weak 13 episode block. Wherein I enjoyed 11 0r 12 episodes in the previous vote, there are maybe 6 decent ones here. The finale is spectacular, and I'm a sucker for The Last Roundup (unedited). Ponyville Confidential, Hurricane Fluttershy and It's About Time are all decent. The rest I could leave or leave, unless marathoning.
Anonymous - 10 years ago
@Moonlight Avenger: those idiots of Tommy Oliver and Antony C are not "the fandom".
Roderick - 10 years ago
The Last Rounderp haha, yeah Derpy completely stole that episode.
Crystal moon - 10 years ago
Obviously the episode featuring the best (and least shown) villain is going to win. ^w^
Kicks_McGee - 10 years ago
Oh. I just realized the reason for "The Last Rounderp." UGGHHH. I had forgotten all about the Derpy scene because that's how little I care about Derpy. Oh well, it's a great episode otherwise, so it still gets my vote.
Moonlight Avenger - 10 years ago
It's About Time for me.
But why is Canterlot Wedding winning? I thought the fandom hated this episode.
Sil - 10 years ago
Of these The Last Roundup. But I'm NOT voting on it with that offensive bronyfied title so I went with voting for my second favorite (among these), Ponyville Confidential. Season 2 pretty much sucked, the only episodes I truly like was the two-parter premiere.
Rockpath5 - 10 years ago
@Alex I.
The Smile song was good, the best song of the series imo, but a good song does not make an episode. The episode is still in my top 10, but besides the song, it's a pretty weak Pinkie episode.
The Fictionater - 10 years ago
"The Last Rounderp"? Bad Seth. No apples for you. Or cherries, or chimicherries, or cherrichangas...
TidestManager1 - 10 years ago
All my favorites are in this block: Hurricane Fluttershy, The Super Cider Squeezy 6000, MMMystery On The Friendship Express, and A Friend Indeed.
WHY!
I in the end voted for Super Cider Squeezy 6000, because FlimFlam Brothers
Badly Drawn Turtle - 10 years ago
I've decided: 'Read it and Weep', because I'm a literary soul. And because Dash was adorkable.
I give an honorary, invisible vote to 'Hearts and Hooves Day' for world-building, CMC shenanigans, and an excellent Sweetie song; to 'It's About Time' for epic the bootstrap paradox; to 'Hurricane Fluttershy' for world-building, Fluttershy, and the Fluttershy/RD interactions; to 'A Canterlot Wedding Part 2' for the song 'This Day Aria' and changelings; and to 'A Canterlot Wedding Part 1' for the excellent paranoid Twilight setup that makes her being right at the end almost a surprise (the first time, at least).
@Chris B: I think it's good that the two-parters are separate. Most of the two-part episodes actually have quite different feels between the first and second halves, and it is not uncommon for someone to like one half but not the other, or to like the two parts for different reasons.
@MichaelTS: I've been wondering about solutions for the problem of the hyper-popular episodes. One idea I like is to rerun the polls with the winners removed, but that probably won't happen. A better system than this, certainly, would be more of an elimination setup, or at least multiple votes per person. Eh, I suppose this isn't supposed to be an end-all final-tally anyway. It's just an amusing side-note until season five, when the /real/ best episodes will happen. ;)
A. - 10 years ago
Voted for The Last Roundup, my fav Applejack episode to this day.
Kicks_McGee - 10 years ago
The Last Rounderp? Did Seth forget to put it at first, or is he just trolling? Either way, I'm voting for that one now out of principle. Also because it's great enough to deserve it.
Chris B - 10 years ago
As someone noted on a previous poll, the 2-parters should be listed as one choice. Look at the vote split on the 2 parts of Canterlot wedding!
Andre Watson - 10 years ago
Lol'd at The Last Rounderp.

I choose Read it and Weep.
I took acid that day. Watched the ep while on psychedelic high. The Daring Do scenes were AWESOME!!!
MuffenMan - 10 years ago
No love for H&H Day? Sad panda.
Alex I. - 10 years ago
Have we forgotten the greatness that is "The Smile Song"?
That was in "A Friend in Deed". Yes "Canterlot Wedding" was nice, but we still sing "Smile, smile, smile" today. Let's show "A Friend in Deed" some love.
Mojo - 10 years ago
Fluttershy is my least favorite of the Main 6, and I still voted for Hurricane Fluttershy, it's one of the best episodes of the series easily, and one of the best apperance's for Rainbow Dash IMO.
Kazen - 10 years ago
Frankly, I don't get the adoration for Canterlot Wedding overall. IMHO, Chrysalis was the only good part of the entire thing.
The episode read like a mediocre fanfic. We're forced to care about two characters whose background is tied to an established main character, but have never before been introduced or established at all until now. They both are suddenly thrown into the limelight and, in the end, supersede the main cast, rendering them comparatively irrelevant to the resolution.
It's sad to see my favorite episode of the entire series so low on the list. Ponyville Confidential is a great episode, especially the Rarity scenes.
SazerLite - 10 years ago
It's called The Last ROUNDUP! Idiots! >:-(
MichaelTS - 10 years ago

Rockpath5 - 10 years ago
I love Hurricane Fluttershy.
Badly Drawn Turtle - 10 years ago
...Can I just split my vote into six?
I don't consider myself a one-season fan, but season 2 has most of my favorite episodes. This is agony, so I'm going to go do something else and come back to place my vote later.
All these episode has a lot of coolness to them. But all's I'm saying is "When some pony tries to block, show them that YOU ROCK!" Hey, sometimes you just gotta end up "Putting Your Hoof Down"
