I recently read 'How to Reprimand Your Rock Star' by Mina Vaughn (published July 2014). This featured a heroine who was Basketball player. Unfortunately any sport doesn't interest me, i wouldn't watch it on TV, so i find it even more tedious to read about it. But, her sporty-ness fitted in with who she was as a person, and made her easier to understand.
