My town publishes the names of all delinquent dog owners who have not registered their pooches on time in the local paper and on the town website each year. If we will publicly call out people for not registering their dogs, then we should certainly call out people for not paying their taxes on time. If someone is trying to make payments on back taxes and showing good faith effort then maybe we exclude them from the list. But for those who are past due and with impunity by all means shine a light on them.
