I love Richt and Bobo routinely produces a great offense. Defense has been UGA's problem for years. We scored 35 and lost that pretty much says it all. But you can't blame Richt. He snagged the DC from the national champion to fix that problem.
Richt has elevated UGA to top level. We all want and expect a national championship. We lose early and have to run the table to have a shot which we fail to do. So expectations are high coming into the season and get shot down early.
As good as Georgia is, it lacks that final intangible to win it all, whether you call it luck or breaks or over-preparation or discipline or karma or whatever. Georgia can't seem to find that final intangible piece of the puzzle. Spurrier totally owns UGA. We are 0-1 in the SEC with Missouri and Auburn still to play. Probably not gonna happen.
We are all Monday morning Quarterbacks and we know why the Dawgs lost or we think we know. Bottom line is we didn't produce when we needed too. The defense looked so good against Clemson but Saturday was a repeat of those games we have had with Spurrier(puke) while he beat our butts at Florida and is continuing at South Carolina. I sometimes think that Coach Richt does not know how to beat him and gets nervous. What I would like to see is someone that knows how to work with the defensive backs and linebackers teach them how to play defense. What we have now is not working, AGAIN.. The other thing I would like to see is Coach Richt get mad, yell, scream, jump up & down and pull a facemask. Show your players some fight. I know Coach is a great guy but come on now and show some spirit!!!!!!!

This is one of the dumbest series of plays ever called by Bobo/Richt - and that's saying something, because they are masters of the stupid play call. You give it to Gurley 4 times in that situation, and if SC stops him 4 straight times, you tip your hat. Richt and his staff should have been fired after the 6-7 season. They should voluntarily step down for that cluster of a series. Awful doesn't begin to describe this duo when it comes to key calls at critical points in the game. Doing less with more since 2001. FIRE MARK RICHT!!!
