Build a double-sided stage and backstage section across the middle so that there are two semicircular BACK-TO-BACK outdoor entertainment sections at the one venue. One or both sides could even be roofed. With sufficient insulation it should be possible to use both venues at the same time.

Subiaco needs something to attract people back to the suburb.
Make it like the Victoria Markets in Melbourne or a DFO like in Sydney for example.
On a sporting note... make it rectangular, increase the capacity and attract some Asian cup qualifier games of soccer as well as International teams here to Perth.
