Love the idea of a record club playing just vinyl, only wish I was close enough to come along.
Safe As Milk is just such a fabulous album and so unique for the time it was made (just like everything Captain Beefheart did). I picked up the Dropout Boogie version some 35 years ago in an electrical goods shop called Banners that was closing down, I was amazed to find they had a rack of LPs for sale, mostly crap but with a few gems in with them. It was 49p and I've treasured it ever since.
