Do you agree with a priest’s decision to bar a gay couple from receiving sacraments at St. Leo’s in Lewistown?

You ought to post the cities and states of the people that post the comments. The Lord's return is soon, and all those churches that are teaching a lie, are not doing the congregation any favors by "loving" those who live in sin and call it a holy act.

This ruling is quite contradictory. Catholic priests that exposed and convicted child perverts are receiving the sacraments in the Catholic Church.

If these two gentlemen are no longer going to be accepted in their home community - I happen to know of several Catholic Parishes in Montana who would gladly welcome this service-oriented, community minded couple with open arms.
I'm sure that if a person were ambitious enough - they could go through and examine the personal lives of every member of the Catholic Church and find at least one reason why every last one of us should be excluded from receiving The Blessed Sacraments.
Here we are serving "justice" to this homosexual couple and yet rapists, pedophiles, murderers and white supremacists freely roam the streets - and I'm sure more of them receive The Blessed Sacraments than we could imagine.
Please, God, work through us to find common ground, and come to know and share Your love with one another and celebrate all of our diversity and talents, and learn to use them in Your service by serving one another. Amen!

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is a great gift from Jesus himself. It is for healing and NOBODY should be denied this great gift. This weeks Gospel Reading (Mathew 20: 1-16) was that God is about Love and only Love. It is not our job to judge because we are all sinners and yet God loves and accepts us. This couple sounds like they are living and sharing the word of God throughout their community. The references in the Bible do not necessarily condemn homosexuality, but rather imply homosexuality, or any sexual act should not be used as a means to dominate another human being. Homosexuality occurs in all species. God created all living creatures. Are we saying God made a mistake?

Freedom of religion means having the right to enforce your doctrines. Practicing, unrepentant sinners are not given special exemptions.
