i think james david carter was amazing and cool and calm under intense pressure his confidence was strong and he never waivered on the notes his tone was so pleasing and calming to listen to...on just sheer talent he stands out and is going to be one to beat ....i disagree about negative comments about adam ....i love to watch the show to see him and blake interact with each other ....adam has payed his dues and is an amazing talent on and off stage so allow the guy to be who he is and just enjoy the show

Janette, I agree with you for the most part. I get a little tired of Adam acting like he owns the show, and even though I KNOW Blake drinks, we've already read that it's NOT alcohol on the show. Even so, he needs to quit referring to it, makes him harder to take seriously. I love Blake though and I know his party-boy image is part true, part schtick- he needs to drop it. He's better than that.

Adam Levine is awful - he goes beyond what is acceptable regarding what he says about Blake! Then he acts like he is joking, but he talks and talks and talks as Blake sits there. Then when Blake says something he tells him to be quiet. He thinks he is the King, and nobody but him has any qualifications. There should be camaraderie, but in good taste! When he just hits the button fast as he can, he is showing he wants to be able to say "I hit the button first!" He was awful about Blake on the Today show.
TODAY SHOW MANAGEMENT, PLEASE HAVE BLAKE SHELTON ON AND LET HIM SPEAK FOR HIMSELF. WHY WOULD YOU HAVE ADAM ON AND NOT BLAKE? He thinks the whole place is "his house!" I think management should quiet him down a bit. Please tell Blake to quit talking about his drinking - that in itself makes Blake seem less than, when he is not. Ask Blake to not continually say "because I was drinking." That is not the best you can do. I have seen your best and that is not it!
