Indeed, Al Haymon must re-enroll again in Old School of Boxing. He's not concerned with boxing fans from all corners of this globe. Alright, boxing is business, but at this very moment, the urge of every boxing fans insists and demands the fight between these two great fighters; no matter what does it take. Let's make it happen...

"Haymon has a plan" You actually don;t understand what Mister Haymond is doing. So I'll help you. Kathy Duva used to have a deal with NBC. Haymon has a deal that will have Boxing back on regular TV. He has some BIG sponsors in his pocket and when this thing is rolling...he has a stable of top talent to book fights. So this notion that he will not be able to get these guys fighting enough is wrong. The man is a successful Harvard graduate who has a proven track record. Did you think he would sign all these guys and NOT be able to keep them busy? His deal will help bring more boxing fans to the game becasue everyone doesn't have premium cable channels. Plus everyone is not trying to buy PPV fights and HBO has put together a LOT of fights that weren't PPV worthy. In the end this IS good for Boxing.

I think this poll would have been better if asked later on. The way I see it, all we know about Al Haymon and his actions is only the setup for what he plans to do in the sport and it's unfair to judge him right now. Yes, he's known to be behind his fighters fighting jobronies but "you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette." For now, I want to be optimistic and hope he matches his best against each other because I don't believe showcasing his fighters against the Salkas of the world would last very long.

I think we have to wait and see, he is up to something behind the scenes, or he's just plain mental and fucking things up. I know we should wait and see, but to be honest........, how long do we have to wait? There are so many massive fights out there

How can Al Haymon be good for boxing? He is good for his fighters, for now anyway. As fans, we should not care how much fighters get paid. We should not care about who they are aligned with. What we as boxing fans have to worry about is getting good fights and to keep the sport of boxing healthy and as non-fractured as possible.
Haymon has a plan. I have an idea what it is, but will not say it as there is no proof of it as of yet. What I will say is over time, his signed fighters are going to get unhappy quickly. He will not be able to secure enough dates to keep them active. He will not be able to provide them with the paydays they expect. The money is this sport in finite, and a large chunk of it is reserved for superstars only. Boxing has a dwindling fanbase, and that fanbase is getting more fickle about which fights we watch, and especially getting more fickle about whether we are willing to pay for them.
