OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE. We need someone to fire up these players and it has to be someone from the "outside". MILLION dollar baby Mauer needs to earn his money. GET OZZIE

The old saying, "if you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got." It's time for someone from the outside with new thoughts. Reshuffling the same cards does not change the hand.
Change needs to begin at the top.

they should get rid of the front office first. it does not matter who is the manager if they don't have any players

I think Gardy is a scapegoat. In my view, the twins have gone back to the Calvin Griffith days of not paying what the players are worth. Ron can only manage what is given to him in the off season.

As a company, the twins swore up and down the media dial that they would put a good product on the field and be very competitive in the years to come if we (the taxpayer) build them a new stadium.

The Stadium has been built. So where is the good, competitive team??

Good luck Ron in your future endeavors. With any luck, you will catch on with another team and beat the twins in the playoffs.

I just hope the Vikings don't do what the twins have done.

But the article says the entire coaching staff was also dismissed - Molitor was a hitting and baserunning coach. Wouldn't Molitor be gone as well?

Not that I would be in favor of Molitor. Outside influence is what this team needs.

I'd be OK with Molitor...but I think someone from outside is better overall. Get Mauer playing better. He is too comfortable with the good ole' boys.
