Grade the Mariners' 2014 season

    The success of the Mariners playing over .500 is due in most part to the pitching...not the coaching. Those guys would have succeeded any where they played.

    Once again, GM Jack has proven to fall short - first, he would not sign Nelson Cruz. He said he really wanted too! But he didn't. This is the same GM that though Milton Bradley was a good idea!

    McClendon was not a proven manager and still remains so - the last month of a season is when "good" managers find ways to motivate players in ways to win...with all those loses down the stretch, they only needed to convert "ONE" of them to a win and they would have had a playoff spot.

    If Seattle wants a to see the playoffs again, they need to get rid of GM Jack!
