Sold my C5 (torch red) to order a C7/Z06. The hardest thing to do in the process was decide the exterior color. Our choice would have been Atomic Orange but that was dropped sometime ago. We went to Corvette Carisle and Bowling Green hoping to get an idea of how the new C7 looks in different colors. We were disappointed to miss seeing a Daytona Sunrise car in both cases. We were told the design engineers were still working on the Daytona Sunrise color and they didn't have any to view. We did see one at a dealer and it really pops in the sunlight but looked somewhat dull and even brownish in low light conditions (overcast days). We struggled to make the decision and finally ordered ours in Shark Gray. I'm still waiting for delivery of our beast!

I own a Dark Purple Metallic C4, and have always loved the color. Until yesterday, if were buying a new C7, the color would have been Velocity Yellow; no longer - Daytona Sunrise Orange rules.
