In my opinion, Its hard to believe that the numbers are not fudged one way or the other depending on the political slant of those publishing them. It never seems to fail though that during an election season, the entire economic picture gets suddenly rosy. If they put out bad numbers, they won't have a job when the next crew takes over, it's that simple.

Since no one listening to your show has any relevant direct knowledge of how this agency does its job, who has the numbers, or what they do to them, how about phrasing it so that you are asking for opinion: "Do You Believe The Bureau Of Labor Statistics Alters Unemployment Numbers For Political Purposes?"
