i agree with Christine Viewers were told way in advance that this story was going to happen so if they didn't want to see it they shouldn't have watched it. We never actually saw the attack we only saw Linda's face. The attack was only implied, we never saw anything therefore OK to show it before 9pm. Some people just like to complain for the sake of it. Had the writers not contacted rape charities on how to deal with the subject then they would never have been allowed to run with the sorry in the first place. It's important for soaps to run stories like this to encourage victims to come forward and realise it's not their fault.

Hollyokes done a gay rape with no graphic content either at half 6 and I haven't heard one complaint about that! People need to wise up and realise it's something that happens nearly every day and them exploring these issues could help one of those people seek help
