Although it would be easy to make a case for Billy and Devin, I chose Todd because he broke out of his sophomore year...to come back even stronger than his rookie year.
Even before the season started, Marty Brennaman projected Billy Hamilton is not Shin-Soo Choo, and that's OK Marty, a lot of people made that projection, and maybe those that didn't just had high hopes; Billy did come through for a full season-until he banged the wall making that take-away HR catch. The numbers were there, the defense is Golden Glove, and for a Breakout Season, as a position every day player, Billy is the Rookie of the Year. With Billy's Breakout, his numbers will increase for years to come: R H SB and BA especially. Thank you Devin, too, for getting more than we expected, but Billy is the Breakout man.
Has to be Devin. Frazier was great but he's already had a solid season before this. There were questions about him going into the year. He answered them. If he was healthy, he would've had a 30 HR 100 RBI season.

While I know he was only here for the last two months plus, I was really surprised that Negron wasn't a choice.

Devon could be the next Johnny Bench
